Dr Rajat Goswamy, MBBS, FRCOG - Medical Director of Harley Street Fertility Centre Mauritius
A pioneer in vaginal ultrasound, he was the first to perform ultrasound-guided egg collection procedures in the UK. He helped establish IVF centres at King’s College and the Hallam Medical Centre in London, and later served as Deputy Medical Director at Bourn Hall Clinic under IVF pioneer, Dr Patrick Steptoe.
With over 33 years of experience, he has trained fertility specialists worldwide and published extensively in medical journals and textbooks. He is a regular speaker at international conferences on infertility, ultrasound, and endoscopic surgery, and has been one of the early promoters of medical tourism in Mauritius, starting in 2002.

- Set up the first Ovarian Cancer screening unit in the world, funded by a research grant from the Cancer Research Campaign, at King’s College Hospital, London, in 1982.
- Pioneered abdominal ultrasound oocyte retrieval (1982), vaginal ultrasound, vaginal ultrasound oocyte retrieval (1986) in the UK.
- Published pioneering papers in outpatient IVF, ultrasound screening for ovarian cancer, normal values for postmenopausal ovaries, uterine and ovarian blood flow studies in fertile volunteers and infertile women, recurrent miscarriage research involving Doppler ultrasound studies and hysteroscopy, the role of LH in lowering fertilisation rates and increasing early miscarriage rates. Numerous publications on Ovarian Cancer Screening, reasons for IVF failure, ultrasound techniques and endoscopic correlations.

An experienced Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with over two decades of clinical experience across India’s premier healthcare institutions, including more than 12 years medical practice as a senior Specialist Officer across diverse Indian Armed Forces Hospitals. She graduated and post graduated from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, India.
She has served as Clinical Tutor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at AFMC, where she was actively involved in the academic and clinical training of future doctors.
She has subsequently undergone training at a tertiary hospital managing high volumes of complex reproductive and fertility issues. She brings extensive experience in managing high risk pregnancies, conducting gynaecological surgeries and providing fertility care. Dr. Anurag Vashista is a highly accomplished Obstetrician and Gynecologist, with over 7 years of experience in the field, including specialized expertise in infertility and assisted reproduction (IVF). His unwavering commitment to women’s health, combined with academic excellence, has earned him multiple felicitations and medals at both national and international conferences.
Having completed his graduation in 2007 from Karnataka (India), he pursued Obstetrics and Gynecology from Chennai, Tamil Nadu (India) and secured gold medal for academic excellence and best outgoing postgraduate.
He further followed specialization in the field of infertility and assisted reproduction (IVF) with a fellowship in Reproductive Medicine from Kerala (India). He has been practicing as IVF consultant and gynecologist in New Delhi for the past 7 years. His core competencies include infertility management, high risk obstetric care, sexual and reproductive health, adolescent gynecology and family planning. In addition to his clinical work, he has been an active academic, serving as a senior lecturer in infertility and gynecology at a leading embryology institute in Gurgaon, Delhi (India) and being orator at various conferences and authoring and co-authoring various chapters on infertility and obstetric care in textbooks and journals.

Dr Purvashi Gowreesunkur, MBBS, MD - Clinical Assistant
Dr Purvarshi earned her Master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Guangxi Medical University, China, in 2015. After returning to Mauritius, she completed her internship at Victoria Hospital and gained further experience at Clinique du Nord and Link to Life.
She has authored and co-authored several research articles on topics such as gestational diabetes, iron-deficiency anaemia in pregnancy, and recurrent miscarriage linked to endometrial receptivity.
With a strong interest in fertility medicine, Dr Purvarshi began shadowing Dr Goswamy before officially joining the Harley Street Fertility Centre in 2020 as Clinical Assistant. She supports patients with care and empathy throughout their fertility journey.

Francesca Comarmond Manager
Francesca joined the HSFC team in May 2021, bringing over 25 years of experience in hospitality and service management at Air Mauritius.
As the clinic’s administrative team manager, she ensures smooth operations while providing personal attention to each patient. With deep empathy, she makes it a must to meet every patient in order to help make their journey at HSFC as positive and serene as possible.

Sweetie joined Harley Street Fertility Centre in February 2009 as a Secretary/Receptionist, bringing previous experience in customer service and administration.
In March 2020, she was promoted to Personal Assistant to the Medical Director and Administrative Secretary. She now supports patients with queries related to costs and insurance, always ensuring clarity and care.

Karinne Poleevadoo Receptionist
Karinne joined Harley Street Fertility Centre in September 2020 as Receptionist. She’s the friendly voice and welcoming smile patients first encounter, both in person and over the phone.
She handles appointment scheduling and organises any necessary investigations before bookings. Attentive and positive, Karinne supports patients with care and enthusiasm, and celebrates each success story as if it were her own.

Abhinav Dudeja Senior Embryologist
Abhinav joined Harley Street Fertility Centre in June 2024 as a Senior Embryologist, bringing with him over eight years of dedicated experience in the Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) industry.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Zoology (Hons) from Delhi University, Delhi, India and a postgraduate degree in Clinical Embryology and Pre-Implantation Genetics from the University of Mysore, Karnataka, India.
Prior to joining HSFC, Mr. Dudeja served for three years at ART Fertility Clinics, Gurugram, India, where he contributed significantly to patient outcomes and lab excellence.
Mr. Dudeja is highly skilled and well-versed in all IVF techniques, including Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), embryo culture and vitrification, and advanced genetic testing such as Pre-Implantation Genetic Testing (PGT/PGD).
Beyond technical excellence, Mr. Dudeja is deeply committed to patient-centered care. He works closely with the clinicians and counsellors to provide transparent, compassionate communication, helping patients understand complex laboratory procedures and feel supported throughout their fertility journey.

Gaurav Gondane Senior Embryologist
Gaurav joined Harley Street Fertility Centre as Senior Embryologist in May 2024.
With a background in Biotechnology and extensive experience in IVF, he brings strong expertise in embryology and a deep commitment to advancing reproductive care. His precision and dedication make him a valuable part of the HSFC team.
With over a decade of experience in the field of assisted reproduction, Mr. Gaurav Gondane is a Senior Embryologist at Harley Street Fertility Centre, Curepipe, Mauritius, where he has been part of the team since May 2024.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology from Mumbai University and a master’s degree in microbiology from Bhopal University, India.
His career began at Indira IVF Pvt. Ltd. (2014–2018) in Mumbai India, followed by more than five years at C-Care Wellkin Hospital, Mauritius (2019–2024), where he played a key role in supporting numerous successful fertility journeys.
Mr. Gondane combines strong scientific knowledge with hands-on expertise in advanced embryology. He is skilled in a full range of laboratory procedures, including oocyte retrieval, in vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), embryo culture, cryopreservation and embryo biopsy for preimplantation genetic testing (PGT).
