Our multidisciplinary team of Fertility specialists includes Dr Rajat Goswamy, the Medical Director, who has been providing these treatments since 1982 in UK, Qualified and experienced Fertility nurses, High-tech Laboratory, Counselling staff and administrative staff, each dedicated to ensure the best possible outcome for each patient. Profile

Pioneer of vaginal ultrasound, and performed the first ultrasound directed egg collection procedures in the UK, initially using abdominal ultrasound, and later using vaginal ultrasound techniques.

Initially set up IVF Centres at King’s College, London, and the Hallam Medical Centre, London. Then worked as Deputy Medical Director under Dr Patrick Steptoe, the pioneer of IVF, in Bourn Hall Clinic, Cambridge.

He has trained many specialists worldwide and published scientific articles extensively, in Medical journals and textbooks, in the past 33 years.

Frequent speaker at International meetings on topics related to Infertility, Ultrasound and Endoscopic surgery.

One of the pioneers of Medical Tourism in Mauritius, in 2002.

Awards and Achievements

  • Admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, July 1995.
  • Set up the first Ovarian Cancer screening unit in the world, funded by a research grant from the Cancer Research Campaign, at King’s College Hospital, London in 1982.
  • Pioneered abdominal ultrasound oocyte retrieval (1982), Vaginal ultrasound, Vaginal ultrasound oocyte retrieval (1986) in the UK.
  • Published pioneering papers in outpatient IVF, Ultrasound Screening for Ovarian Cancer, normal values for postmenopausal ovaries, uterine and ovarian blood flow studies in fertile volunteers and infertile women, recurrent miscarriage research involving Doppler ultrasound studies and hysteroscopy, the role of LH in lowering fertilization rates and increasing early miscarriage rates. Numerous publications on Ovarian Cancer Screening, reasons for IVF failure, Ultrasound techniques and Endoscopic correlations.
